We return this year with a clear and distinct mission: to bring out the chef in you. After hosting this popular community event five times in one of the busiest cities in the world, it is clear that we live in a metropolis of foodies. We realize that being busy usually means not having the time to prepare your own meals. Fortunately we recognize that there is a chef in everyone (yes, even you), and we hope to bring it out through new activities such as a Dumpling Making Class and the introduction of brand new flavors and recipe ideas. Even if your experience with dumplings does not go beyond your local Dumpling house, join us at the NYC Dumpling Festival because of your love of food (and fun!). Therefore we dedicate our 6th year to more than just our love of dumplings, but to you. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Food Bank for NYC.
About Chef One Dumplings
Chef One was founded in 1999, in a former brewery located in Bushwick Brooklyn. With the initial focus on the food service sector, our dumplings are now proudly served in some of New York’s finest restaurants. However, our new goal is to let more Americans in on this amazing food by bringing our dumplings to the best grocery stores and markets. We produce 44,000 dumplings per hour in our Bushwick factory, using only fresh ingredients and no artificial flavors, and make sure each one will taste and look great when it reaches your home. We believe there is a chef in everyone and picking up a bag of Chef One dumplings means a delicious meal is awaiting your creativity. Whether you eat them dipped in soy sauce, dunked in your favorite broth, or baked into a new creation, preparation is always easy and the flavor never fails.
